BRECCIA CAPRAIA

CARRARA MARBLE

The iconic white marble quarried in Carrara, Italy has been used to completed, some of the most exceptional architecture and statues throughout history. Carrara marble comes in many forms - from the "pure" white blocks to those patterned with delicate, smokey veining; and from blocks showing streaks of golden marble, to those with rich violet and red hues. The former is Breccia Capraia - a prestigious stone, sought after for its unique and colored veining patterns.

All of these beautiful selections of Carrara marble are incredibly durable and can be finished in unique ways to function in a variety of applications.

As I live part of each year in Carrara, I continue to work closely with the many marble types, quarries, and stone workshops local to the area.
